ذِمَار

Zimaar is ذِمَار — an old Arabic word for the things a person is bound to guard: their family, their honour, what has been entrusted to them. The classical phrase is ḥāmī al-dhimār, the guardian of what must be defended.

We chose it because that is the standard we hold ourselves to. What carries this name is made to be worth keeping — and worth the trust placed in it.
